So, I started to dabble in the internet market, hoping to find a product or service I could sell to earn a living and work from home. Forget that 9 to 5 thing all together. Well, after several tries and subsequent failures, I did find one segment of the market that still has room for growth. In other words, I am going to show you how to buy toner, inkjet, fax, copier and POS cartridges and ribbons dirt cheap and then sell them at unbelievable mark up. How much money can you make? This could replace the income of your current job very easily! Or better, provide you with more income than your current job!
Why imaging supplies? Lets take a look at Hewlett Packard. Last year, 2005, Hewlett Packard reported six billion dollars in gross revenue for it's inkjet cartridge business. Did you read that? Six Billion Dollars! That was only for their inkjet cartridge business. Not their toner business and not their printer business. Just the sale of inkjet consumables.
The sale of toner and inkjet consumables in the United States alone, is in the hundreds of billions of dollars each and every year!
The truth of the matter is, that reselling cartridges made by the Big Five (Hewlett Packard, Epson, Canon, Brother, Xerox) is not going to work for a small business such as the one I am proposing for you to start. Wait a minute! Didn't I just tell you that there was money to be made here?

Just like the generic brands of pain medication that you buy at the supermarket at 1/2 the price of the namebrand medication, you can purchase generic printer supplies. The best part is, they are so cheap to buy that you don't need to buy in quantity to make a profit!
The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is the federal law that governs consumer product warranties. Passed by Congress in 1975 it specifically states that the warranty on a product cannot be voided because the end user did not purchase nor use the manufacturers consumables.
You can see from the Federal laws I quoted here, Generic imaging supplies are legal and the manufacturer cannot tell you otherwise. Period. Now, lets talk about the kind of money that you can earn selling generic imaging supplies!
The Sherman & Clayton Antitrust Law is another winner in your corner. This law states that a manufacturer cannot force you to buy their consumables. They must allow you to buy and use consumables from other suppliers for their products.
Let me give you an example. The Hewlett Packard printer cartridge C4127X, made for the HP 4000 series Laser-jet printer originally debut on the market at $168 each. Ok, from just 3 customers you can earn $1436.96 or more per year. Now, here is some more truth. Check around your office where you work. How many copiers, printers and faxes can you find? Now imagine if you supplied all of that businesses imaging supplies for all of those machines? Ok? You getting the picture here? Imagine if you had 10 businesses that brought you $680 in profit per year for just one printer/copier at that business? How about all of their printers, copiers, fax machines, dot matrix printers and more? Do you see the potential here? Most small businesses have at least 2 or more laser printers, one or more copy machines and usually two or more fax machines. Get out there and start counting money. Every person you meet.
